Wire rope slings are versatile and flexible. Their construction makes them a good fit for abrasive loads that would normally cut or damage a web sling. They can also withstand more extreme temperatures and environments. Numerous construction types and hardware available allow the slings to be tailored to your specific needs.
- Wire Rope Sling are mechanically spliced to positively prevent the ends from unlaying while in use. They can be used in vertical, choker, and basket hitches. Configurations of Eye & Eye, Eye & Thimble, and Hook & Thimble are available with a number of other combinations as well.
- Sliding Choker is a single leg wire rope sling that is assembled with a choker hook. This sliding choker hook allows for easier hook up and release of the choke hitch.
- Mulit-Leg Wire Rope Spreader or also known as a bridle sling. The multiple legs of the sling promote better control and distribution of the load. Similar to the single leg counterpart, custom eye and hardware configurations are available.
- Tea Cup Pipe Lifter also known as a Coffee Pot Sling is designed specifically for use with “Tea Cup” pipe lifters. These help make handling concrete water and sewer pipes efficient and quick.
