Fall Protection For Tools
Drop prevention equpment is not only important for workers, but also the tools required to get the job done. Aside from tethering the worker, tools should also be tethered to help avoid dropped object accidents.
- Tool Attachments: are the attachment point on the object or tool that connects to a tether.
- Tool Tethers: Are lanyards with at least one connector on each end. These are designed specifically to connect the object or tool to an appropriate anchor.
- Anchor: Attachment point on a building, equipment, structure, or a worker to create a secure connection point to tether objects or tools.
- Containers: or storage solutions such as bags, buckets, or pouches commonly used to transport equipment, tools, or parts while working at height.
