Jacks
One of the most common products to lift heavy loads is a jack. Categorized based upon the type of force they employ, there are mechanical and hydraulic jacks. Mechanical jacks lift heavy equipment (i.e. car jacks and house jacks), and are rated based on lifting capacity. Hydraulic jacks are popular in the heavy equipment industry, rail & barge work, and trenching.
