Invest In Your Tags
A tag is an investment and you often get what you pay for. Fulcrum Lifting uses high-quality, durable tags on our products, in compliance with industry standards. Additionally, we realize that sometimes unique applications require extra thought about the appropriate location or attachment of the tag.
All lifting chain, synthetic and wire rope slings are required to have identification tags permanently attached to them. Rigging products with detached or illegible tags must be removed from service until new tags can be permanently reattached.
Each of our sling product tags contain the following:
- Working load limits applicable to the sling type
- Sling length & size and/or type
- Manufacturer’s name or trademark
- Industry’s most updated warning information
- QR codes on synthetic & wire rope slings to service as back-up sources for load rating and warning information
At Fulcrum Lifting, we have improved the quality of our tags over the years because that’s one of the most common reasons that a sling is removed from service. We also take extra time to focus on the location and/or attachment of the tag on unique products. If tag is gone or illegible, please do not use the sling. We want to help you avoid one of the #1 recordable OSHA fines.
